On 4 September, the 15th UNESCO/IOC-ODC Training Course on Ocean Dynamics and Ocean Models held the full-day special activity "Hearts for the Blue, Hands for the Future—UN Ocean Decade International Conference on Ocean Literacy." Under the framework of the UN Ocean Decade, the activity provided a platform to consider how ocean knowledge can be communicated through education and public engagement. It extended the course's focus from models and data to the broader goal of building informed and sustained responsibility for the ocean.  |
